In early July, 2 workshops will be held in Auckland and Wellington (2 in each city) aimed at helping community groups get a better understanding of the digital space and challenging their thinking as to how it can be used creatively and cheaply to benefit their organisation.
Each attending organisation will be asked to first complete a small survey indicating what they and their organisation are currently involved with in the digital space, to ensure that the workshops are well-suited to each community group’s individual needs.
Each workshop will be 2 hours long and be held centrally to each city on a weekday evening (6pm-8pm).
Registrations will be limited so get in early to reserve a spot! (Registrations aren't open to non-members yet, but send an email to 'participate AT ymediagroup DOT org' with 'workshops' as the subject and we will let you know when registrations open. - Alternatively, sign up to be a yMedia 2008 Community Group Member and you'll be kept in the loop!)
Workshops will be free for yMedia Community Group Members [how does my organisation become a member?] for up to 2 members from each organisation ($30 for each extra attendee per workshop).
Non-members will be charged $50 per workshop (and then $30 for each additional attendee from the same organisation).
